Personal trainer Rachel Woolford had a dream to open her own fitness studio and that dream became a reality when she acquired Phoenix House an office space in North Leeds, having traveled the UK and the World researching various fitness studios she knew what her vison was and TLI helped her turn that vision to reality.
The exterior also underwent a makeover with seating installed outside for summer use.
After Rachel acquired an adjacent building, we turned that into a stand-alone Yoga studio and then made some alterations to the existing studio.
All of us at TLI were very pleased when Rachel was crowned the 2024 winner of the apprentice, a fine reward for all her hard work, we are sure she will go on to be a big success in the leisure industry and we wish her the best of luck.
North Studio is up and running keeping the people of Leeds fit and healthy, we were exhausted just seeing the finished project.
We stripped out the existing offices then set about creating a reception/café area, Yoga studio, treatment room and HIIT Studio.
The reception and café area had a biophilic feel to it with living walls installed as well as giving it a modern hip look.
The Yoga Studio had a calming feel about it using living and mirrored walls and the HIIT studio was decorated all black with a coloured light system integrated into the sound system which TLI installed.
We also created two stylish changing/shower rooms which needed a full M and E refurbishment.
